A Letter From Our CEO (COVID19)
During this unusual and trying time, as we all work together to navigate the rapidly-changing coronavirus pandemic, GRM is operating with an abundance of caution and we are doing everything we can to protect the health of our employees, the health of client employees and the health of the larger communities of which we are all a part.
At the same time, we are striving to maintain the highest levels of service that you have all come to expect from GRM over the years. Finding the right balance between safety and service has led us to take a variety of steps that have impacted some of our policies and procedures; particularly in the area of physical deliveries and pickups. We have upgraded our eAccess portal to support all of these processes. These new operational standards will be apparent to you when you login to conduct business and, as always, your GRM account management resource will be available to assist in any capacity required
As more dramatic virus containment initiatives become more prominent around the country, we are working in cooperation with our clients who are impacted most significantly as well as with local government and law enforcement authorities. For example, we are coordinating very closely with our healthcare clients and other clients who are executing mission-critical activities and working to provide them with the heightened level of service that they require. And, we are concurrently beginning to coordinate with local law enforcement in order to secure the exceptions that we need to serve these clients during their mission-critical work.
In addition to the health and safety-centric operational changes that we are making, we have also enacted a number of other changes in the way we are doing business such as enabling employees to work from home, cancelling corporate events as well as suspending in-person meetings and all employee travel.
Ultimately, while the coronavirus pandemic is an extraordinary and unprecedented challenge, we believe it is a call for all of us to put forth greater effort and demonstrate a greater willingness to work toward the good of the whole. All of us at GRM are striving to do that and are anxious to move forward with you, continue to conduct business and collectively emerge stronger after we have this behind us.
As always, please reach out to us if we can be of any special assistance to you in the coming weeks.
Regards,
Avner Schneur
